Hunting Lodge Class, Patching
In this stunning kitchen, first-class design marries with exemplary craftsmanship to cater for the architectural specificity of a renovated hunting lodge, formerly owned by the Duke of Norfolk.

Light-painted Loxley furniture offers a subtle, pleasing contrast with the oak features. The tall oak cabinets provide an element of grandeur, while remaining perfectly in tune with the room’s proportions, and a bespoke engraving takes pride of place above the fridge. Meanwhile, beyond providing a great deal of storage and worktop space, the island includes integrated oak cabinetry (with a prep sink and end-grain oak chopping block) as well as a raised breakfast bar and pull-out chopping boards.
This variation of levels, shapes and textures gives the kitchen its charm. What’s more, the extractor pulls no focus from these unique details, being a built-in Falmec downdraft kind. Across the kitchen, the natural oak plinths and a moulded oak cornice visually link the cabinets, with the cornice flowing into lighting pelmets above each window. When combined, these fine details create an individual, welcoming kitchen that complements the period architecture, while accommodating modern family life.
